Expenditure per pupil in Europe
The Federal Statistical Office Germany recently published a press
release featuring figures on the expenditure per pupil in Germany. But how much does the state spend per pupil in other EU countries? More information is provided in the data table
annual
expenditure per pupil in secondary education.
The data are expressed in Euro PPS. PPS or purchasing power standards is an artificial currency. 1 PPS is equivalent to the average purchasing power of one Euro in the EU. By using PPS the differences in purchasing power between the EU Member States are
compensated.
