This document presents for the first time flows to and from the European Union of remittances and "net compensation of employees" (i.e. compensation of employees minus taxes and social contributions, and minus transport and travel expenditures related to short-term employment) for the years 2005 and 2006.In addition to global flows, the document identifies and quantifies the major corridors of both remittances and "net compensation of employees" flows.
