Statistics make news. They are also essential background to many news stories, features, in-depth analyses and TV and radio programmes. Eurostat's Press Office regularly publishes user-friendly news releases on a key selection of data on the EU and Member States and their partners. The Press Office also prepares statistical briefing notes on important EU decisions and events such as major conferences.
