By public transport
From the airport Berlin-Schönefeld (SXF)
Take the regional train for S+U-Bahnhof Friedrichstraße.You can then either walk towards Checkpoint Charllie
(approx 15 minutes) or change to the underground
line U6 (direction: Alt-Mariendorf). Exit after 2 stops at Stadtmitte. Then head
towards Checkpoint Charlie. The building Friedrichstraße 50 is situated on
your left as you head south.
Or
Take the Bus X7 to underground station Rudow. Take the train (U7), at station
Mehringdamm change to U6 at the same platform. Leave the train at station
Stadtmitte.
From the airport Berlin-Tegel (TXL)
Take the express bus TXL heading for S+U-Bahnhof Alexanderplatz from
Tegel airport. Leave the bus at station "Friedrichstraße/Unter den
Linden". Journey time: approx. 35 minutes. From there you can either walk
towards Checkpoint Charllie (approx 10 minutes) or take the underground line U6
for one stop from Französische Straße to Stadtmitte.
Or:
Take the Bus 128 (direction: Osloer Straße) to underground station
Kurt-Schumacher-Platz. Take the train U6 (direction Alt-Mariendorf), leave the train at station
Stadtmitte. Journey time: approx. 30 minutes.
The building
Friedrichstraße 50 is situated on your left when heading south down
Friedrichstraße.
From the main station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof)
Take any S-Bahn departing from platform 15 towards Friedrichstraße and
Alexanderplatz and exit after one stop at Friedrichstraße station.
You can then either walk towards Checkpoint Charllie (approx 15 minutes) or change to the underground
line U6 (direction: Alt-Mariendorf). Exit after 2 stops at Stadtmitte. Then head
towards Checkpoint Charlie. The building Friedrichstraße 50 is situated on
